The time passed slowly. I kept landing on the Go to Jail square but did manage to put up hotels on Mediterranean and Balboa, the two cheapest properties. The scarred guy cheated, but no one made much fuss. Then the game ended abruptly when a guy watching TV went ape and started yelling when he was asked to turn the light back on that he had just turned off. Then my bail was set at $500, Raoul paid it, and I wished the guys luck. All told, I was in there about six hours, I guess.
