Never fear if you're caught in the rain without lube. Just pull into a gas station, pick an "empty" out of the trash, and there you go. There's always dregs aplenty to meet a bike's full petrol needs. Actually, sadly, you often needn't wait for a station. An eye on the ditch for a mile or two in most places and there you go.
