This is really Oly Nat'l Park again, but it *might* have been somewhere up on Vancouver Island. Took the boat from Vancouver, B.C. to Nanaimo, then backroads and logging roads to Port Renfrew on the coast in the first heavy, heavy rain of the tour. Then southern coast around towards Victoria, with the last 35 miles or so on the exquisite Galloping Goose trail, a red dirt rail-to-trail through a tunnel of Maple and other folliage, all in fall colors at the time. Somehow I had b/w film in the camera, which later got developed incorrectly anyhow, so no shots from up thataway. |
